This is what I have found works for me in my personal experience with the crystal kingdom;
When you pick your crystal, make sure to blow on your hand before you pick it up, and then 
blow on the crystal itself, and then blow on your hand after you've put the crystal down. 
The reason why I do this is to remove any interfering energies which may block me from 
feeling and experiencing the true potential of the crystal I am checking out.

Put the crystal in your right hand, which is your receiving hand. Close your fingers and thumb 
around it and just wait to see if you feel anything at all in either your palm, hand or throughout 
your body. It could be a slight shift in how you are feeling. It could be an actual physical sensation 
of a buzzing on your back or anything in between. When a crystal throbs for you in your hand
it's the most amazing thing, because then you KNOW it's yours and is wanting to work with you 
to solve some energetic blockage on some level.

After you've picked your crystal, make sure to also bring home a bag of salt crystals to give them 
a salt bath for at least 3 days. The salt clears up any energies they are carrying so that they can be 
used by you in the purest way. After the salt bath you want to charge up your crystals so they have 
all the energy that they can give you within them. To charge them up you'll want to put them in the 
earth for another 3 days. It is good to put them in a big pot (no more than 4 or 5 in a pot at one time) 
with a live plant so that they get the energy of Mother Earth ready to be used for your highest good.  



Rose Quartz; A soothing, calming stone. It is used for love, and to increase self love and feelings of self worth. 
It brings healing and clarity to the heart and allows the wearer to learn to trust again. Balancing the emotions 
and healing emotional wounds, it brings peace and calm. It is especially powerful in times of stress or loss, helping 
the wearer to slow down and take it easy. Its loving nurturing energy takes away fears, resentment and anger and 
gently replaces them with a feeling of higher self esteem and confidence. Wear this and open yourself to love. 
Holding a raw piece of Rose Quartz opens you up to feeling that wonderful unconditional love that you've been

Citrine is a stone of manifestation, Citrine brings our thoughts into being on the physical plane
helping us to realize our dreams. It is especially useful for desires involving happiness, wealth
success and communication. Helping to balance the solar plexus chakra, it brings clarity to the 
difference between the needs of ego and our divine, higher will, and to fill our lives with joy.
I personally love this stone because it's so calming, and when I hold, especially, a raw piece of 
citrine, I feel that all is well in the world, and that I am just fine right now in this moment.
Extremely good for any stress in your life. Calms you right down to the core of you, and is
also great for protection.
